The previous 2D survey was used to find the very best position to drill the first hole for some time in the PEP-11 lease and that turned out to be a duster. I really can’t understand that if finding this gas is so important for the company and the country why a current state of the art exploration survey is not carried out.

Just my thoughts and opinions as I no longer hold any shares in companies associated with PEP-11.

Just in my humble opinion my friend ; I believe that due to past mismanagement and sheer waste of shareholders money... MEC might be a bit gun shy in asking for further capital raises from investors to complete a more expensive survey. I can only imagine they are trying to be fragile with the funds to make them last the longest possible time to achieve the best result for shareholders.
I guess we'll soon find out if it was the right decision or not
