Was just looking at Amaysim result, interesting company to watch in next few years, but not sure what there long term future will be, taken over maybe, not much P&E to stand on their own two feet (but they do count their $73,000 of telecommunications equipment !).
Anyway, they are following Vocus tactics a bit in that they are an energy retailer, our results havent disclosed what our EBITDA margin might be, so its interesting to look at theirs.
They had EBITDA of $2.7m on $45.5m revenue, so margin of 6%, which feels about right, i doubt anyone expects it to be big margins, its more the associated benefits of getting your foot in the door AFAIK, and its low risk, recurring revenue once started. (assuming the wholesale contracts are done right)
We had energy revenue of 211.7m, which would mean $12.6m EBITDA if the margin was the same as AYS.
