It certainly makes sense for BEN to take the next step and merge with the likes of BOQ, so long as the business model remains the same i.e. community focussed.
What a merger could do for the SP is anyone's guess, but it would definitely put BEN firmly into the #5 position of Aussie banks.
Anyway, I've committed to a long term hold and accumulate strategy with BEN so onwards and upwards I say!
