    Is BHP Ripe for Takeover?

Im astonished at what I'm reading about the thinking of BHP management lately and seems like they become "girly boys" as the actor would say in the old language we should not use these days but it's true the new term is "snowflakes" used often by Dan Pena a seemingly ruthless American business trainer. Is BHP ripe for takeover?

We all know the climate does change and the proof is our vast coal & gas reserves. The climate is changing constantly but the Amazon bush fires do more "damage" than all our emissions in Australia and mining has been the main income source supporting 27 million legal and illegal immigrants to this mostly barren land. The indigenous have roamed this barren land for 60,000 years apparently and the cave paintings prove the only history of improvement for all that time.

Do we know what the temperature was between 60,000 BC and 1788 AD? Do we want to go back to 1788 living in tents?

ARE BHP BOARD ARE SNOWFLAKES ?

When the head of Grok Ventures is able bully the BHP Board & CEO to consider dropping their membership of the Minerals Council of Australia & Business Council of Australia, then we really need to start worrying about our economic future.

The mining industry is not for snowflakes and company board members need to start to grow some b*#$@ again instead of worrying about the Greenie lobbyists and their derivative hedge fund investors.

Our total Australian economy survives mainly on mining exports income without which we would all be poor. If pension funds don't want to hold shares in BHP then so be it on their head if they lose all their money during any future GFC event, but if BHP management look after their company and their industry associations first, they will be doing their primary role.

Shareholders come and go but our main customers China & Japan need to be looked after supplying our minerals.
BHP is a big Australian and needs strong operators to keep it ahead of the pack. Sure it needs to reduce energy costs where it can but it should have been doing that all the time anyway but to start believing this Al Gore crap and promoting it now is unbelievable imo.
