Was it then another error in judgement by BHP to have gone (forced consumer) from a contract price to spot price a few years ago? All IO producers are now paying heavily, they essentially have been outsmarted by the Chinese who can turn production on/off at will. Whatever happened to boards that thought modest annual growth per annum was better than the boom bust scenario?
