agree 100%.. ireland should simply be ireland . whatever the reasons may have been in the past to divide ireland - then for sure they should be non events these days .
ireland (and not northern ireland) is not as catholic as it was in the past . without double checking, but from memory ireland has SSM and abortion these days .
time to reunite the country and that will solve the problem that england has in relation to leaving the EU
