Re: SyncQuacer SC2A11, upon reading it a few more times, it does seem that the initial design doesn't include Akida IP but future iterations will do so (or else why would the model name be mentioned in the announcement right?).

It's quite clear in the first statement "announced that Socionext Inc., a leader in advanced SoC solutions for video and imaging systems, will offer customers an Artificial Intelligence Platform that includes the Akida SoC, an ultra-low power high performance AI technology." so I'm not too concerned as one way or another Akida IP will be inside their products.
