IMO, I think that;

1) the limited quantities available,

2) the 2 announcements above, taken together, implies that Akida is essential to the "fast 3D object detection and recognition"

3) the announcement of the collaboration was 11 months before the announcement of the release of the DK-ILK001 leads me to believe that there is some form of Akida IP in there.

If I am wrong, then the next product that they release will definitely include Akida chips / IP. Of course this is not factual but speculation only.
