Islam is both a religion and political system. Religiously it varies depending on which sect one follows. Politicaly it is a totalitarian system which tolerates no dissention, and is similar to nazism. This is absolutely opposite to modern western democracy. The two systems can not co-exist, or at least not in the same country. Unfortunately none of our western political leaders are prepared to recognize this reality. Dave R.
