I have a baby on formula and we go through 2 tins a month and I have never been to any supermarkets where Bubs were located at eye levels (melbourne suburbs and CBD). Also very few in numbers compared to other brands like Nans, Aptima, A2 etc. Also mostly goat milk products which is unfamiliar territory for most parents. A2 was very good at convincing people A2 is better milk/protein than typical cow milks but I don't think Bubs is good at convincing consumers why parents would choose goat over cows. Also their products are little premium priced. However, my wife who doesn't know anything about BUB shares/company let alone share trading stocks up pantry with baby finger foods and quite a lot of them are Bubs products. I can definitely remember what A2 did in terms of advertisement and consumer education trying get people to sway to A2 proteins but I don't feel Bubs is as aggressive in marketing at chemists and supermarkets. I think some serious money to be made from Bubs will happen over a longer time frame with slower but progressive market growth. What's really interesting is what China does in post COVID era. Domestic market for Bubs is a little limited and also so many competitors right now.
