Refer my earlier thread about Gordon Samuels on ABC lateline. He stated even if the 53 stations in question were excluded from the deal he would still not ok it, so now this is on public record. To me it seems for some reason he has a personal agenda against Caltex increasing its share of the fuel market, to me that seems to be the crux of the problem. To me this may actually go in favour of Caltex if it goes to Court because it shows the biased and uncomprimising nature of Samuels towards Caltex.
