Just a supplement to some of the excellent posts on this thread:

"so it is $93,000 for 4.1 months worth of life?"

This is a very limited summary of the benefits of Cvac.
Those statistical results were achieved in relation to treatment of late stage patients who were already beyond help of traditional chemotherapy and had very suppressed immune systems as a result. In any event, what it did provide was an average additional 4.1 months of life, but with a better quality of life, free from the ongoing illness caused by the chemo drugs. Would I pay $93,000 for the opportunity to go out with some dignity and lessen the burden on others? Hell yes!

Regardless, what is about to become more clear through the Phase IIb and III clinical trials is how effective Cvac is in the treatment of patients with earlier stage conditions. This will demonstrate the true value of the vaccine/process and how it will benefit sufferers.

Prof Frazer has expressed the confidence that the company feels towards this in his succinct statement. Words to the effect, We know Cvac works, we just need the trials to provide the final proof.

I'm happy to back that with my cash.
