abdm Whilst the US government continues to spend a third of its GDP on its military, I think it can comfortably accommodate It's Medicare duties. Also, we're talking a global rollout of C-Vac, so other nations will figure prominently. Lastly, the uproar over any cutback to expensive treatments in the US would be more than politicians could bear. Double lastly, cutbacks to same would be met with scorn and indignation from Big Pharma lobby groups (who essentially set US governmental policy).
