Good result but a long time coming. When considering processing fees, recovery rates etc. it looks like the ore grade overall was pretty good based on the $611 per tonne price achieved. Net of all costs and the ore has already been transported (based on earlier reports) so this is net cash to BCN (12 000 tonnes @$611 = $7.46 million to BCN on top of their existing cash). They have no debt either as this was all cleared in previous years via cash from earlier gold sales. There could be future benefits to them forging a relationship with NST as well.
They've been knowing this is coming and would have been reviewing numerous prospective projects over the past couple of years, so I wouldn't be surprised if armed with cash we start to see some concrete action on this front in the not too distant future. If they can turn out a decent gold prospect to put some blue sky on top of their now strong cash backing it would easily justify a much higher market cap.
