I have sold @Germantheologist - I think there may still be further upside but I have had a pretty decent $150,000 profit from my initial $50,000 investment in 2015. It wasn't Kodak, I never had a really great idea what it was except that people seemed pessimistic.
Private Equity are going to pump it but they aren't exactly a wholesome cuddly feely kind of counterparty - they also won't be giving you warning beside the buybacks as to what they think the value of the business is. This is a people business and it would have performed better if it wasn't owned by private equity or a large faceless corporation but I am sure that will be it's ultimate fate.
It could go up simply because there's a limited float which they will buy back aggressively. Good luck to all from long term investors to short term speculators.
I am very concerned about the overall state of financial markets so that my positioning is very conservative, presently no debt and only holding very large conservatively financed institutions with cautious management in industries I understand well. If there's another market crash and chance to buy a decent business like Cardno at a Kodak price I will jump at the opportunity - but I don't deserve it.
