Given the current price of the stock, even with the buyback in place, it’s puzzling why we aren’t seeing some significant insider purchases. This is a question that certainly deserves attention until Clinuvel’s team takes notice. Do they not see the same buying opportunity many of us see?

Given the ambitious goals set by the company for the coming year, it appears that this would be an excellent opportunity for board members, including the Chairman, or those in management including the CEO, or perhaps our incoming CFO to take advantage of these bargain basement prices. What better way to leverage their ambitious objectives and improve investor confidence, then to add some shares. Is it possible that this is too close to the release of market sensitive news for such purchases?

Several of my astute friends have already pointed out the advantages this strategy has brought to other companies they follow.My own experience mirrors theirs. For instance, just recently the increase in share purchases by insiders at OUST (Ouster, Inc.) has dramatically shifted the stock's whole investor base sentiment and greatly improved confidence in the company.
