    I would assume that there would be a number of majors out theee looking at Buru, and despite Eric's and New Standard's shaareholding, if enough cash is dangled in front of the super funds etc, they will sell to the highest bidder.

    My bets would be on Total, ExxonMobil and Shell and perhaps Hess and Murphy. I don't think MIMI would try to gazump Mitsubishi, but they are certainly staffed up and obviously hugry for a big project.

    I doubt that any Chinese co's would get a look in as both the federal government and opposition would both baulk, as the white austrealia policy seems to be alive and well in the liberal party and labor would get toasted if they even looked like considering a tilt from a Chiese major.

    Buru is set for a fun ride this year in more ways than appear obvious.
