I was also a staunch lefty when i was 18 writing passionate letters to the editor, about republicanism and how terrible Malcolm Fraser was .
Time passes, we mellow and we learn a few truths and figure out what it really means to be on the left.
What this country needs is a few years of Federal labor to be reminded what a pack of self serving power hungry back stabbing individuals they always end up being.
Put power in the their hands and they can't help themselves.
If you're a mature adult still on the far left then you never really grew up.
