but as I've often written the 2PP polling doesn't reflect the inclusion of a larger number of independent candidates that may overturn the numbers by "stealing" more Liberal seats. and hopefully winning a few Labor seats too.
the 2PP always assumes the duopoly will always capture the preferences and beat every other candidate. it doesn't allow for other parties or candidates winning seats.
last election showed just how wrong the 2PP formula is when the duopoly are so badly on the nose.
