No explorers wish to stay an explorer by choice. It is usually uneconomic resource, financing or down turn in demand thus commodity prices that drives them into hibernation.
They have had 3 ML in a spate of a month awaiting approval. My guess is that Shileya will be the first off the rank to provide working capital to fund further work on Omaholo and proove up an even bigger resource. This was detailed in the study published recently.
You don't apply for an ML unless it is justifiable and these applications are supported by feasibility studies. Looks like the FS will need revision in light of the doubling of MS7 resource and grades which should mean that they are cost savings for the extraction.
