Another interesting "support" for the "abiogenic" theory is that there have been many cases documented where depleted & capped oil wells have mysteriously charged up again.
Also the occurrence of water being found in stratas above oil is argued as proof that the oil has leaked from below (not above) because oil is denser that water ie once oil is on top it wouldn't be able to migrate below the water strata
