I don't think your argument is very well thought out. There's a school of thought that being a horrible person is not an impediment to success, it's a requirement. The nastiness of Elon Musk isn't what's exceptional. He's nasty all right, but he's also deluded, irrational and has weird pseudo-fascist ideas which effectively mean he aspires to become a god. It reminds me of Caligula in I Claudius, but to be fair, a lot of his Silicone Valley pals have similar bizarre beliefs.

AF is nowhere near that level yet. He clearly thinks he can help save the world, but it's in sync with the broader plan for decarbonisation being pursued by countless national, international and non-government bodies.

Whether that plan is enough to stave off climate devastation is another question. I don't think it's going so well, but for now, it's all we've got, and there's money in it in the form of government handouts. And iron ore is still the main game anyway.
