Ah, grasshopper, the market doesn't make sense. Just as god moves in mysterious ways, so does the market. The day that the market makes sense is the day to stop investing. You only make money because someone else makes a mistake. If no one made mistakes (read, correctly values a share) then all shares would change hands at their correct value.
