The next DTR?
Ok after this amazing run, all eyes will obviously turn to which stock is next??
Clearly the focus in resources exploration for the next 4 years will be on US based assets of a strategic nature.
Think critical metals, rare earths, gallium etc. anything that has exposure to AI, semis, data centres, military/ defence.
Also needs to be in a good mining jurisdiction imo. I like DTR and have traded and still own etc. but California can be problematic.
Also probably needs to be dual listed in both Aus and US to get the full effect!!
Well, I’m willing to have a crack!!
G50
Why?
G50 has a strategic asset, which has extensive gallium mineralisation! Gallium is always a byproduct rather than a standalone mine, so you also need an economic deposit with another commodity. Again, G50 seems to tick this box. It has had very high grade gold, silver and zinc hits and currently they are drilling out a resource. They wouldn’t be doing that if they didn’t think the resource would impress the market.
Crucially, it’s located in Arizona, which along with Nevada is basically the best mining jurisdiction in the US.
I’ve been told the company has near term plans to dual list now that Trump has made it clear he will support these projects and prioritise them.
Why is gallium so important and why might G50 start a DTR style run soon?
Because in the last fortnight 2 huge announcements by giant corporations at the forefront of US technology made gallium related announcements:
1) Nvidia chose Navitas’ GaN powered semiconductors for their next generation data centres (we all knew gallium was going to create a big efficiency boost for data centres which they desperately need).

And 2) Raytheon announced it had delivered the first GaN upgraded radar to the US missile defence agency on May 19.
Again, this is huge.

Oh and of course let’s not forget that China produces 98% of gallium and last year they announced a total export ban on it.
How will Nvidia and Raytheon get their gallium to build these critical projects??
US gallium supply now becomes the number 1 asset to own.
