Viralytics (under the stewardship of Paul Hopper) was taken over by Merck for $A500 million for essentially a single drug - Cavatak.
A number of ex-Viralytics scientists are now working with IMU following its acquisition of Vaxinia from City of Hope.
Imugene has a number of therapies in the development pipeline, not just one. More importantly, a number of these are likely complementary - two drugs may not be effective on their own, but are effective in tandem.
