If Rudd replaces Gillard, I doubt that he would go to an immediate election. He would play for time, hoping that the Labor poll results would improve.
It will be fascinating to see how certain HC posters deal with all of this. Having defended Gillard so fervently, how on earth will they then justify their support for Rudd?
Of course they will be forced to do this because no matter what stuff ups have occured, they are Labor zealots through and through.
