If we are in a great depression version 2 then such depression has to be an inflationary depression. However, I cannot see it being the case in examples like these:

"In Malaysia, a high profile Chinese real estate project has turned into a Ghost Town. The project called "Forest City" was supposed to be built at a whopping cost of $100 billion. The occupancy is barely at 1 percent. Country Garden - the developer behind the project is facing a crisis of survival."

"Not a single passenger has used this hi-tech European airport yet. Will they ever arrive?
Dozens of gates are ready for aeroplanes to pull in. Information screens display simulated real-time flight information. Gleaming terminals stand waiting for passengers to walk through them."

"(Bloomberg) — The skies are eerily empty these days, presenting a new challenge for the world’s embattled airlines as they work to safeguard thousands of grounded planes parked wingtip to wingtip on runways and in storage facilities. More than 16,000 passenger jets are grounded worldwide, according to industry researcher Cirium, as the coronavirus obliterates travel and puts unprecedented strain on airline finances. Finding the right space and conditions for 62% of the world’s planes and keeping them airworthy have suddenly become priorities for 2020."
