I see Krispy Kreme also took a dive off the high platform. Down 24%, Ouch. I think this is a problem faced by any business that sells a product for under $20. The rents and input costs keep climbing but the profit margins for a "cheap" product are very small and there's no room to play with.
Ozempic and awareness of the evils of sugar/carbs are another issue on top but we can see the fast food industry losing ground across the board and it's all about rising costs and servicing debt that most large scale businesses have sunk themselves into trying to expand as much as possible.
