Munger said he never bought meme stocks. And he never shorted them either. But I think the patina of hype has worn off GYG and reality is sinking in. My biggest beef with this stock is they're Johnny come lately to prime locations. Everywhere they plan to open will be a spot passed over by McD and HJ's for good reasons.
Throw on top of that the international falling out with fast food as their prices start to approach that of cheap restaurants. Then there's the dramatic rise in construction costs. I see no tailwind at all to this sector.
