I could be off track here, but this is my theory. I believe that the purchase of Halcion Pty Ltd by Stirling is in fact the purchase of Diagnostics Medical Co-operative Limited.
It seemed strange that nothing at all was coming up for Halcion considering it supposedly is Australia's fastest growing Pathology business with 7.5 mil turnover, so I tried www.halcion.com.au in address bar and it took me straight to DMC site.
As has been previously stated Con Kostakis owns DMC and is the founder and ceo of Halcion. Could it be that Halcion is in fact the parent company of DMC ?
The ann. 16/9/2010 stated that Halcion manages over 40 employees and 20 contractors nationally, so is it just a coincidence that in fact DMC on its website under Patient Service Sites (Contractors as stated by Stirling) has 20 sites listed in South Australia and NSW ?

All the above might only be a good laugh, but on the other hand it sort of all makes sense.
