you will probably get it back quicker trading,,2 to 4 trades a month at 1000 a pop will see your money back in 2 years with taking calculated risks,,luck also plays a part l suppose but trying to hold something for 5 years especially when you have seen they raise capital all the time will be pretty hard to regain one would think,,find hot sector and target a few stocks then constantly watch for the opportunity,,day trading sux but buying the right flavours and holding for 3 to 15days usually pulls you in 1 grand to 2 grand with low risk AVOID MEDICAL STOCKS thats what cost me ,hoping to rid myself of those problems in the coming months seriously good luck and you can turn it around but time is needed and constantly watching what you purchase before you purchase can bring you higher returns
