I have no idea what ASIC are doing. I don't work for asic.
ASIC do however have an obligation to properly investigate and act upon any breaches of the 2001 corporations act as the governing authority. We want it to be that way right!
We should all want ASIC to act on things that are contrary the act.
We should want our investment policing to be efficient like all the rest of our laws..
Do we want to live in a country where people could take things they have no right too?
While our police force can also act on a scenario of this nature, proper practice might be that ASIC should have first go when it comes to business matters IMO.
