    Not sure if anyone really thought Hird was a drug cheat in the same light as some of the 100m sprinters in our time, but to have knowledge of your players being injected by substances that many experts in this field have said is not fit for humans deserves a life ban, not just 12 months.
    Who cares if they are or aren't illegal/banned etc or even if they will be classed as fit for human consumption in the future, why risk the health, both short and long term, of human beings ???? Not footballers, not sprinters, not guinea pigs, but actual human beings
