I can't post links ATM because I'm on the road, but you can DYOR. As I said liquid and solid forms of storing and transporting hydrogen are currently underway. Metal hydrides, ammonia and the Japanese method using a long chemical name I can't remember just now are well in development. eg MHI are building ships to run on and transport ammonia.
