Here is my take. This thread confirms that transporting hydrogen in any form is an expensive proposition. ~95% of the hydrogen is produced and consumed onsite. That's where HZR comes in. Its designed for being put in the plant where piping is designed to carry the hydrogen (ammonia, fertilizer, steel, oil refining etc) small distances prior to consumption.
In Mali also the naturally occurring hydrogen is consumed at the source.
