Nothing wrong with Guinness and potatoes.
I had dinner with an Irish couple a few months ago. The lady worked for the government over there and she said that her work was offering everyone over a year leave and paying for flights out to Australia. They were happy as could be with the situation.
They are working in Australia for the next year.
