    Acorn, I haven't had time to digest the article fully-posted the link while waiting to catch a flight. In my opinion though property has become a increasingly speculative investment tool as shown by the high % of property investors making up the purchases.

    We all know the danger of speculation. People buying for somewhere to live provide a fundamental floor, people buying to make money creates the possibility of dumping shoukd things go pear shape.

    All in all though I have no idea. I'm still looking to buy but mindfull of the inherent risks. I can't see prices dropping 30%+, but 10-20 could quite reasonably happen.
