    Meaning of a "dog" in share parlance - " a share than performs significantly worse than the average".

    Down from a high of 24 cents about 20 months ago to 5 cents as we speak, and currently in free fall. As much as it pains me to say it, I think it is safe to say that SSN is a dog.

    If it looks like a dog, smells like a dog, and acts like a dog, then it's probably a dog.

    I know we all love our dogs, but sometimes you just have to let them out of their misery and and have them mercifully put down.
