It will take time as HK dollar still around, and the Yuan as main currency, right now, if Hongerkers go shopping in mainland, they can't pay HK dollars anymore, as nobody want HK dollars, the Yuan has appreciated , thinks its 1.10 HKD to 1 Yuan, it was the other way around

With the companies listed at 45 % discount in HK merging into Shanghai would be OK, they will convert say 1 HK listed share into say 0.55 Shanghai listed share
That's what I heard, listing rules quite " liberal " over there

If they want finish HK dollar and HS shares they can do that without too much trouble, its all from the top
