    I really do not like conspiracy theories. And that is what you are proposing, that there is a bunch of people behind the curtain pulling the levers on our politicians.

    So my natural reaction is, that's a stupid idea.

    Except that I too have been reflecting upon what is happening, and came to the same conclusion. Why else would Merkel, Cameron, the Finns, Swedes, French et al. have done what they did, encouraging so many to came and despite the problems are still doing so in some cases? For some of these countries they are importing 2% unemployment.

    Why? And how do we stop it here? Both main parties support the idea (another indication of a puppeteer) so to vote in a different party would only happen when the whole thing has gone pear-shaped. Except that the migrants will all vote for a main party .... and with our corrupt voting system labour and the lnp would be putting each other up for the preferences.

    And even if you did get a party in that wanted sensible rules on migration, what do you do with the liars and cheats already here?
