Colonnade - results should not be delayed IMO. If that's what is going to happen then IMO it would reflect badly on management as it may suggest that they are looking after themselves rather than the company SH's (but no doubt that could be disputed and argued over depending on what is being "delayed"). If the results are good then release - SP will increase and there you go a CR. However if results not good then by not releasing them the market gets edgy as to why the delay. In this game no news is bad news and it will factor accordingly into the SP.
BigAlvin - totally agree and good question. IMO you need to look at timing that ANN's are released and contents of ANN's and investor presentations. IMO past glories mean nothing and generally the market may factor that in. Sell off of assets to fund ongoing projects sometimes backfires - and the constant scouting of funds when there are only "soso" results presented also is factored in by markets. So there is a number of issues you should review - not all of which apply in all cases. So DYOR as this is all IMO only and general in nature.
