Update on the Cycles

Observations
============

1. When the peaks to peaks and bottoms to bottoms are measured, we find most of them fall within 3 days (before and after) the gann vibration number of 49. For example, 47 days to 51 days- as shown on the chart.

2. The influence of the short term dominant cycle of 49 days which had been operating recently failed to push prices up, with the longer term dominant cycle of 149 days having started to turn down as shown on the chart and exerting strong influence on the index. This, as we all know, is attributed to a sudden significant event of the Japanese earthquake-tsunami-nuclear fallout.

3. The Smooth-RSI is used to provide a guide on a confirmed reversal of the XJO with an outbreak of the trendline as shown marking that reversal point. I've also marked the point where we are today. This is, of course, to indicate the event after it has occurred..and we have not reached that yet.

Time and Price Projections

Observations
=============

1. The index has fallen to almost reaching the 61.8% retracement of the current campaign as marked on the chart. The 78.6% retracement level is also marked for comparison purposes.

2. Price wise, it has exceeded the price cluster and even exceeded the extreme projected low as shown, indicating the extremes of trading emotion arising from the Japanese disasters.

3. Looking into the next 30 days from time projections, the most significant cluster of time days is seen to occur around the 18th March 2011 as shown. Time days are valid plus minus a day. Let's observe whether there is anything significant such as a turning point, support etc occurring on or around that significant time day.

4. The daily and weekly DTOscillators are also plotted to show where we are within the overbought-oversold regions of the XJO to provide a guide on estimating timing.
