In this evolving story the key aspect is that finally RWD has geophysical evidence to unlock the ancient river systems that fed the potash salts into Lake Disappointment. These buried paleovalleys were unlocked courtesy of Geoscience Australia when they flew their conductivity grid over this country in 2010- 2011.

RWD finally had a conductivity map that showed them where the conductivity originated and the flow paths. It was clear that the conductivity indicated salt paths but were the potash values commercial. Moreover, it also seemed the conductivity areas were much larger than LD and would be a very large system indeed.

Initial sampling has been positive but we are looking at a very large area and the sampling could best be characterised as "grab samples" - perhaps Lake Auld is better than that.

RWD has a play in its embryonic phase but the scale is tantalising.
