Pigs Might Fly is the main figure contesting the validity of EDE's products here and seems to have a depth of knowledge and 'contacts' in the industry. To me he presents as someone imbedded in the Australian concrete industry and has also recently intimated on this thread that US engineering is way off the cutting edge internationally. That is an interesting view If EDE is, as he suggests, a joke in the US.

So why does he bother posting so vigorously on HC?

I asked that question of PMF years ago and his/her response at the time was that he/she has personal reasons.

Those personal reasons I suppose could be industry based or perhaps he/she holds a grudge against the Solomon Bros.

Whatever, I have moved on (although I am tempted to reenter) and my personal guess is that the likes of Wagner have been in the wings for a long time particularly as they have their 'Green Concrete' based upon the alternatives promoted by PMF.
