Seems to me that with the exception of the Superannuation and Humour forums there has been a substantial fall in the QUALITY of posts in recent weeks. Most especially on the ASX-General forum.
Note the increase in "10 Bagger" type threads. It got even more ridiculous with a "100 bagger" post which attracked a lot of attention.That is not investing. It is simply long-shot gambling.Multi Bagger posts are guaranteed to get a huge response. It never ceases to amaze me that some posters believe their obvious ramping can affect a share price.
On the other hand,IMO,there has been ONE improvement over the past few months on stock forums. Previously some folk, like myself, would comment on specific stocks based on our particular experience and/or knowledge of that industry etc. It was intended for the benefit of other HC members. But often what we got in return was offensive uninformed no-factual-basis rubbish.At least so far as I am concerned that has changed for the better.
