I just think you have discovered the real meaning of life...
SADLY, 95% of the population haven't.
And you know what,I guarentee you, that most of those 95% WILL NOT get the full functionality and best possible use from all those gadgets anyway.
As for the technology,it's dumbed down anyway....read Neil Young's book Waging Heavy Peace for his views on modern audio.
