Don't worry, the fact that they went to the trouble of "solicit(ing) interest" does not preclude the fact that they received unsolicited interest as I can attest to from talking with management previously.
Its a bit like those guys that knock on your door and say they have people interested in buying your house, you don't just invite them in and sign on the dotted line. You go out and talk to a couple of other agents and then sign up for the best offer.
