Replacing cobalt is as much a fantasy as is the elimination of lithium from batteries, for a generation if not more; the talk of taking out cobalt has been going on for last good 5 years and the needle has not moved much in that amount of time.Major LT. cobalt deals between battery makers and miners are in works, all current sellers will regret when the news breaks in not too distant future; could be next week for all we know.The looming cobalt deficits are not a made up story; a child born yesterday can figure that out.
