there's no ILS approach on that runway (05 uses non-precision approach aids) although an ILS operates in the opposing direction(23)
- there was an incident a few years ago in Perth where a Garuda flight crew had lined themselves up to land on the nearby highway - incredulous stuff like that does happen!
May well have been a genuine 'incident'.
