Some say shorters create a balanced market - not so sure when the shorters can drive direction holding both Long/Short positions!
Looking at y'days shorts per ASX Daily data:
Daily Gross Short Sales reported for 14-Mar-2024, ASX Limited (ASX) & Cboe Australia (CXA) 1 PLSPILBARA MINERALS LIMITEDFPO7,590,098 3,009,467,945.25
PLS share price down 23 cents
equals:
PLS 1 7590098 2 0.23 3 Profit $ 1,745,722.54
less shorting costs = not a bad days return!
So little clarity on Lithium future keeps the doors open for shorters to reign!!!
